Fun in Ibiza!

Ibiza is a Spanish island in the Mediterranean Sea. off the eastern coast Spain. Ibiza is famous for partying, it's rich nightlife, electronic dance music, and for the summer club scene. Djs are always performing at the clubs, and celebrities go there to party, so it's very likely you would run into a famous person there.

(Fun fact! His full name is actually Pierre David Guetta and his father's name is also Pierre. His father was born in a Moroccan Jewish family, and David's mother, Monique, is of Belgian descent)

Besides the partying and the nightlife, Ibiza is part of modern Catholic Spain with a culture largely reflective of that. However, Ibiza’s historic isolation and occupation by various ethnic groups, including Moorish and Roman people, has left its mark on the architecture, art and cuisine. The Catholic calendar and turning of the seasons are the main drivers behind many of the community events, but the people’s love of family and food help make Ibiza a pleasant and interesting place to visit any time of the year. Since Ibiza is located on the Mediterranean side of Spain, traditional food and drinks are all sourced from the regions surrounding it. Some traditional Ibiza dishes are Parrillada de Pescado (mixed seafood grill), Flaons (or flaó in singular form are filled pastries), Greixonera (Ibizian dessert that's similar to bread pudding). Typical drinks in Ibiza are Sangría, Hierbas Ibicencas, and Frigola.

If you love to party, Ibiza is the right place for you! I would love to go to Ibiza someday. Hopefully in four months for my 18th birthday (fingers crossed).
