In the summer of 2019, me and my church went on a mission trip to Guadalajara, Jalisco in Mexico, where we spread the gospel in the town of Alameda. I don't have pictures of the town we visited, but it was really run down and we helped them build houses. After our week evangelizing, we spent our time exploring the landmarks and we visited the hot springs in Jocotepec. The food in Jalisco was really good especially the tacos. The tacos were very authentic and the flavors were really different from New York.

Some tips I have for people who visit there include:
1) Always have sunscreen. The sun is hot and bright and its always good to have sunscreen to protect yourself.
2) Always have bug spray. There are a lot of mosquitos so it's good to have bug spray at all times.
3) Have an umbrella/clothes for the rain. It rains almost everyday in Jalisco, so you have to be prepared for the constant rain and wet climate.

If you do visit Jalisco, Mexico, I guarantee you'll have a good time if you enjoy trying different cultures out.
