Brooklyn Bridge

The Brooklyn Bridge stands as New York’s most recognizable tourist attractions, located between the boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. The bridge is above the East River overlooking the beautiful skyscrapers. This masterpiece was built from 1869-1883 by John A. Roebling, a civil engineer. It cost $15 million to build and now it’s more than 125 years old. The span is nearly 6,000 feet long, marking it the world’s largest suspension bridge. The bridge’s gothic towers are one of the features that makes it so iconic. On average, it takes 20 minutes to walk the bridge. There are bike lanes as well. Both ends of the Brooklyn Bridge’s neighborhoods are cool as they have a distinct atmosphere.

There are many things you can do when you get to the other side
